Hey guys, this is Jake here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the Dometic Roof Vent Fan. This fan is gonna be a great addition or a great upgrade to a fan that you might already have. A lot of the traditional vent fans that come with your RV, if you're putting it in RV, we have this in an enclosed trailer. Some enclosed trailers will come with these vents too, because these trailers will get so hot during the day. But typically the fan's only about four inches and it's like in the corner and honestly, they don't really do anything. more

Using a cover like this for your roof vent is actually going to allow you to use that roof vent how you actually want to. Without a cover, you really have to pay attention to make sure you put them vents back down when you're traveling. Can't really open them up when it's raining outside or anything like that 'cause you get water pouring through and everything else. So having a cover on there, it's going to do a few things. more
